Looking to hire developers

Hey friends!
I hope you all are well. My name is John Roo and I do some development and publishing. I was working on a new DS game for a couple of months and I was side tracked because I signed some licensing deals with a few different companies for development and publishing. I definitely have a couple of proposals to place into this section of the forum.

1.I have an indie game I am working on that I would love to partner up(or hire) with other developers to work on it with. It is an original design that I already have a majority of the artwork done for. So its mostly programming work. It already has a foundation in DS game maker, and I simply set it down to work on these other projects that are on contract, and I simply don't want to abandon the project. I'd love to work closely with someone on this.

2. Upon mentioning the publishing projects, I have several licenses with many popular retro games and I am looking to work with developers and artists to bring these titles to the DS. These are also potential jobs to team up or hire on. The games are mostly remakes of older C64, Amiga, and Spectrum games. If you are interested in preservation of older games, this might be the partnership for you!

I am happy to speak more about it on Discord, Email, Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp or wherever you feel most comfortable speaking about it. I will require a Non disclosure on the licensed games considering they are already on contract and leaks can damage potential. If you are interested in something like this, feel free to reach out to me on here or email me at Johnroo@TheRetroRoomGames.com

Thanks so much! Let's do what we can to keep the DS game maker community alive and well!

:)

my games are just way too small and simple.. and i'm not even that good with DSGM.. i'll be dropping some abandoned projects in the 4.9 section eventually.. it's sad i won't be able to make them.. but it is what it is i guess..

but if i were good with DSGM, i'd probably bring back some old 5.25 floppy games... lol - i don't remember any of the titles of them. i was like 15 lol. i do remember the pc i used to borrow from school on the weekends was an apple lol but anyways...

but i wish you the best of luck in your adventures...
