DS Game Maker - Fan Forum

Ok, I am thinking of rewarding our most very active, helpful and valuable members with a page of their own.. This reward will be given to those that are dedicated.. always looking around and helping others.. Has made atleast 2 apps with DSGM in either version...

IE: Ruffsta's Corner for example.. the link would be found at the top of each page near "Board Index" link..

My page would have my DSGM work plus any other works outside of DSGM. I have made various things via "Visual Basic 6.0" - that I would like to share..

So, it's like having your own page to show off if you will.. The only issue I see with this new addon is that I personally would have to design your page.. I know that sux but the pages are created via Admin panel.. and well, i cannot allow anyone to have access to that..

You would have to provide:
Links to the application and pics
a description

i'll add more as we go - IF this is a thing we want to go forward with...

It's a nice incentive for active members and it gives us the opportunity to share more about each other, especially our other projects.

Would this be a forum page, or a page on the DSGM website?

I imagine there may not be much design customization if it's just on the forum; the website may be another story.

a forum page... as stated, the link would be at the top near "Board Index".. I "could" make pages on the website if i really wanted to... but i think for now it would just be a forum page.. it all could change to website.. i have an addon script for the forum.. so that's what i was thinking..

Sound interesting nevertheless, if there's enough votes I think it will be interesting to see your page as an example of what can be reasonably accomplished.

I'm curious because I do web design on the side with HTML, CSS but I have no idea what this phpBB forum can support design wise.

i sent you examples via PM... if i were to do it on the website i would ofcourse be able to do even more but have it tie into the site.. the forum pages would just be simple
