hey! i used 5.20 on my secodary windows 7 pc without a vm and it worked perfectly I don't see how, since the app requires a server connection and a registration key to bypass the 3 limited rooms and the initial load logo... The only way I see it working perfectly and totally FREE is within the VM ...
